We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our growing corporate and consumer products team.
This is an entry-level position with priority given to candidates that have previous experience in a fulltime role at a public relations firm. Applicants must be solution-orientated and have a successful track record of meeting deadlines, working well under pressure, interacting with senior management, and handling confidential information.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of professional PR experience working on an account team assisting with pitching products in the consumer lifestyle, parenting, and tech space. Resourcefulness, attention to detail and a positive approach to achieving team deliverables is a must.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting senior executives on the corporate and consumer team

Track client coverage and compile clips

Work with account teams to create and maintain client reports

Participate on client calls, draft agendas and take notes at all meetings

Manage and monitor editorial calendars

Pitch client stories and products to the media for reviews, gift guides and roundups

Research and engage with influencers for product gifting opportunities
-
Work with supervisors to maintain and update all media lists on a timely basis

Keep up to date on industry news

Attend client related events and support account teams, where appropriate
Qualifications:
-
One (1) year of professional PR experience pitching media in the lifestyle, parenting and/or consumer tech space.

Must be personable, enthusiastic, punctual and a hard worker

Excellent communicator with solid attention to detail

Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize time in a remote setting

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in PR, Communications, Marketing or Business

Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel), Google Drive Office Suite and Cision
-
Working knowledge of social media networks (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

Influencer/Celebrity Gifting experience is a plus.
