We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our growing hospitality and lifestyle team.
This is an entry-level position with priority given to candidates that have previous professional experience or an internship at a public relations firm. Applicants must be solution-orientated and have a successful track record of meeting deadlines and working well under pressure.
The ideal candidate has had exposure working with a professional PR account team that pitches products in the consumer lifestyle and/or the food & beverage and hospitality spaces. Resourcefulness, attention to detail and a positive approach to achieving team deliverables is a must.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting on 3 hospitality & lifestyle accounts including 1 Hotels

Track client coverage and compile clips

Work with account teams to create and maintain client reports

Participate on client calls, draft agendas and take notes at all meetings

Manage and monitor editorial calendars, awards and conferences

Pitch client stories and products to the media for roundups, gift guides and features

Research and engage with influencers for stays and events

Work with supervisors to maintain and update all media lists on a timely basis

Keep up to date on industry news

Attend client related events, photo shoots, and support other account teams, where appropriate
Qualifications:

Internship or One (1) year of professional PR experience pitching media in the lifestyle, travel and/or hospitality space.

Must be personable, enthusiastic, punctual and a hard worker

Excellent communicator with solid attention to detail

Strong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize time in a hybrid setting

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in PR, Communications, Marketing or Business

Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel), Google Drive Office Suite and Muck Rack
-
Working knowledge of social media networks (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
